                     REGISTRATION AND SUPPORT INFORMATION



THE SHAREWARE CONCEPT

  Shareware is licenced commercial software which the authors make available
  on a try-before-you-buy basis.  Users may evaluate a Shareware product for
  a period usually between 30 and 90 days, by the end of which they must
  either pay for the product (known as Registration) or stop using it.

  Copying of Shareware, subject to the above conditions, is not only allowed,
  it is encouraged.  Pass copies on to interested friends and colleagues.
  Shareware authors rely on the integrity of users to abide by the conditions
  of the licence, and register the product if they want to continue using it.
  Many, like ARK ANGLES, also give added benefits to users who register.


ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

  This program is Shareware, and may be freely copied and distributed subject
  to the terms described in the VENDINFO.DIZ file.  The program may be tried
  out for up to 30 days without charge, after which time users should
  register it or cease to use it.

  Note that Shareware does not mean Freeware or Public Domain.  This program
  is licenced software, and copying, using or distributing it without paying
  for it, except as provided above, is a breach of copyright.

  This program MUST be registered in order to distribute it as the install
  program for any other piece of software, whether it be commercial software,
  shareware, public domain, freeware, demo programs etc.


WHY REGISTER?

  As stated, the licence for this product entitles you to try it out for up
  to 30 days.  Use of the unregistered product beyond that period, or the
  distribution of any part of it except as allowed in the VENDINFO.DIZ file,
  is a breach of copyright and is against the law.  But apart from the legal
  obligation, there are many benefits to be gained from registering.  With
  K-INSTALL Standard Edition you will receive:

PRICING

  Individual registration of K-INSTALL Standard for either DOS or Windows
  is A$65 (US$53, £35, Dm85, ¥5500).  This entitles one author to use and
  distribute K-INSTALL royalty free with any number of programs they have
  developed entirely themselves.

  Business registration of K-INSTALL Standard for either DOS or Windows is
  A$155 (US$125, £80, Dm200, ¥13000).  This entitles the business to use and
  distribute K-INSTALL royalty free with any number of programs they have
  developed by any number of employees in one development group at one site.

  Register both the DOS and Windows versions together and get the second for
  half price.  Individual registration is A$95 (US$77, £50, Dm125, ¥8000).
  Business registration is A$225 (US$180, £115, Dm290, ¥19000).

  For the serious developer, K-INSTALL Professional includes lots of extra
  features such as complete customisation of all messages, basic copy
  protection, ability to scramble the settings file, check for pre-existing
  installation, separate optional component installation, extra support for
  installing from CDs, text and graphics slide shows, and more.  Both DOS
  and Windows versions are included in the Professional package.  Individual
  registration is A$125 (US$100, £65, Dm166, ¥10500).  Business registration
  is A$295 (US$240, £150, Dm385, ¥25000).

  For CD-ROM manufacturers, K-INSTALL CD is a multi-product catalogue and
  installation system that can handle thousands of products on one disk.
  It offers several types of classifications, multi-category and keyword
  searches, product information slide shows, the ability to copy, install
  and/or run each product, and more.  Perfect for shareware CD publishers
  and other multi-product distributors.  Both DOS and Windows executables
  are included, as are all the functions of K-INSTALL Professional.
  Business registration is A$495 (US$395, £250, Dm640, ¥42000).

  Individually customised versions of all these products are also available,
  in which your chosen settings can be hard coded into the program itself.
  This alleviates the need for a separate settings file, makes your program
  more secure from prying eyes, and results in a smaller install program.
  Pricing for each customised version is the same as the equivalent generic
  program.

  Updates are released regularly, and unregistered copies of the latest
  version are available from ARK ANGLES for just a shipping charge of $5
  each, or from many good Shareware vendors.

  Need K-INSTALL in a hurry?  Ask for SPEED (Special Purpose Electronic

HOW TO REGISTER

  Nothing is simpler.  We accept cash (of course), cheques (but may wait for
  them to clear if they are large amounts), credit cards (AmEx, Bankcard,
  Visa or Mastercard only), bank drafts or postal/money orders.

  Credit cards will always be billed in Australian dollars (A$) so you get
  the latest and best exchange rate.  Cash, cheques, drafts etc can be in
  Australian dollars or your local currency.  Calculate local currency prices
  from any of the published International prices at the current exchange rate.

  There are five easy ways to register:

  1. PHONE:  Get your credit card ready, and the details of your equipment as
     listed in the ORDERFRM.TXT file.  Then call [phone] for Australian
     customers or Intl+61-47-588100 for International customers, and leave
     your ordering information with the operator or answering machine.

  2. FAX:  If you have a fax card on your computer, then simply edit the file
     ORDERFRM.TXT with all the necessary information, otherwise print it and
     fill it in manually.  Make sure all your credit card info is there, then
     fax it to [phone] for Australian customers or Intl+61-47-588638 for
     International customers.

  3. POST:  Print ORDERFRM.TXT and fill it in.  Ensure your credit card info
     is there, or include a cheque, draft or money order and post the lot to
     ARK ANGLES at P O Box 190, Hazelbrook NSW 2779, Australia.

  4. E-MAIL:  Insert ORDERFRM.TXT into a note, fill it in with your credit
     card information, and send it to [e-mail] on Internet

SOFTWARE LICENCE

  This product is licenced, not sold.  The shareware evaluation version may

  author to use and distribute K-INSTALL royalty free with any number of

WARRANTY

  ARK ANGLES and/or the author warrant the physical disks and related printed
  matter to be free of significant defects in materials and workmanship, and
  that the program works largely in accordance with its documentation.  This
  warranty is effective for three months from date of registration, and is
  not transferrable.

  No liability is accepted for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused by
  the use of this product.  No warranty is made that it is suitable for any
  particular person or purpose.  If this product is useful to you then please
  register it, otherwise don't use it and don't pay for it.

  In any event, the liability of ARK ANGLES and/or the author is restricted
  to either a refund of the registration paid, a replacement of the physical
  disks and/or printed matter, or the provision of an upgrade to the latest
  version.
